CSCT is school based mental health services provided to youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. These services are provided by a therapist and a behavioral specialist within the school setting. The CSCT team works with the child, family, teachers, counselors, case managers, and other team members to assist the child in being successful in school.

CSCT may assist children in getting to and staying in school. It may offer support in transitioning between classes, and managing through difficult social or academic situations. CSCT also offers activities to assist the child in building skills such as communication, emotional regulation, problem solving, and engaging in appropriate social interactions. CSCT teams also offer individual, group and/or family therapy, and have the ability to spend time with the child outside of the school setting.
